Name Jenna JohnsonAbout My name is Jenna Johnson and I am currently at Multimedia Design student at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. My inspiration comes from the people, places and colors that surround me. I use this inspiration to create pieces of art that have my own unique style. One of the major themes in my artwork is the use of bright colors and cartoon style characters. I look to incorporate a lot of “energy” into my pieces to give them a more animated feeling. My process as a designer and artist is something I take very seriously. I spend a lot of time on my ideation processes to come up with the best design ideas to fit the project guidelines at that time. For some projects, my ideation process occurs during the development of my artwork. This allows me to play with different ideas and construct at the same time. Personally, I love to surprise myself and by overlapping my ideation and construction processes, I feel as though I create pieces that I could have never imagined just on paper. I have just recently finished writing and illustrating my own children's book, below is the link to a site where you can view the entire book online: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/invited/2145038/da6ee7ba16be776e0b8ef99ad310dc10501666b3 |
